Crew Member.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor on all lawn maintenance and/or landscaping jobs. Must understand how to handle and operate a variety of hand and power tools, and be able to load and unload materials. Crew Members will assist other team members and Crew leaders.

• Hourly Pay: $14-16 depending on experience
• Benefits: Performance based raises, overtime pay, and tips

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

· Performing a variety of assigned work duties involving strenuous manual labor in outdoor projects and worksites

· Maintain clean job sites

· Picking up all tools and equipment and securing job sites each day

· Loading and unloading trucks with materials needed

· Carrying out opening and closing duties

· Maintaining a professional appearance 

· Complying with safety/employment regulations interpreted in employee manuals and/or other work related documents

· Mandatory attendance to work related functions if required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Must possess a valid driver’s license

· High School Diploma or GED

· Clean criminal record

· Basic knowledge of equipment, material, and supplies used in landscaping industry

· Basic knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions

· Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner 

· Ability to lift heavy object and walk/stand for long periods of time

· Ability to communicate fluently

· Ability to follow instruction 

· Ability to meet attendance schedule consistently

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION.
The physical demands outlined herein are essential for the Crew Member to effectively fulfill the duties and obligations of this role. Visual acuity including close, distance, and peripheral vision, along with the capacity to focus, are integral to this position. Moreover, the employee should be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects, utilizing abdominal and lower back muscles without experiencing undue fatigue. Exceptional stamina is imperative given the demanding nature of the role. Additionally, it is pertinent to note that the noise levels in typical work environments are often elevated.
