POSITION SUMMARY
Landscape Project Managers are responsible for managing all projects from initiation to completion, making sure the job gets done efficiently and satisfactorily. Managing client expectations and developing detailed project plans, and assigning team members to specific tasks. Creating realistic and accurate timelines of projects and ensuring the completion of projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
· Assist in all scheduling aspects of landscape and/or hardscape projects, including. equipment, materials, staffing, and trucking.
· Ensure project is running efficiently and staying on schedule.
· Maintain company standards and quality control.
· Direct contact with all vendors and clients involved in project.
· Demonstrate leadership qualities, train and organize crews.
· Complying with safety/employment regulations interpreted in employee manuals. .and/or other work related documents.
· Mandatory attendance to work related functions if required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· 5 years or equivalent experience in professional lawn and landscape company.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
· Clean criminal background.
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Understand basic computer skills (excel, word, email, and other software).
· Strong math skills.
· Strong knowledge of landscape materials.
· Strong knowledge of all aspects of landscaping.
· Excellent leadership and verbal communication skills.
· Industry Certifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION
The physical demands described here, must be met by the Project Manager to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles without fatigue. Excellent stamina is required. The noise level on jobsites is generally loud.
