General Manager.

  

POSITION SUMMARY

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success and management of House 2 House Lawn Care. As a general manager you will oversea all day to day operations ensuring the company is ran efficiently and control all processes from beginning to end. A strong leader who can develop new ideas, systems, and technology, and also analyze and improve old ones is expected.

  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary Pay: $50k-85k depending on experience.
  • Benefits: bonuses, paid time off, Sick pay, 401k Match, Educational benefits, opportunities for growth.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strong knowledgeable of all positions.
  • Physically able to perform all positions.
  • Maintain all licensing required for other positions.
  • Expert clerical duties such as payroll, and scheduling.
  • Expert QuickBooks/bookkeeping skills.
  • Marketing skills.
  • Estimating jobs. 
  • Building relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Employee scheduling.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and communication qualities.
  • Complying with safety/employment regulations interpreted in employee. manuals and/or other work related documents.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree and/or 4 Years Equivalent Degree.
  • 5 years experience in a leadership role in a professional landscaping company.
  • Valid driver’s license require.
  • Strong knowledge of P&L, management, business-to-business service industry, and sales/service delivery.
  • Clean criminal background.
  • Expert in QuickBooks and other accounting software’s.
  • Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and compliance.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION.

The General Manager physical demands are multifaceted, encompassing a combination of office responsibilities and outdoor activities. In the office setting, the manager is expected to engage in extended periods of computer work, requiring proficiency in utilizing various software applications and conducting administrative tasks. Outdoor demands may include standing, walking, and overseeing landscape projects, which may involve navigating uneven terrain. The General Manager should possess the ability to inspect and evaluate outdoor work sites, potentially involving bending, stooping, or kneeling. Furthermore, the position may require occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects related to landscaping materials and equipment. Effective communication and coordination with the team, clients, and suppliers may involve some physical mobility within the company premises. While the role demands a balance of office and outdoor activities, it's important to emphasize that reasonable accommodations can be considered for individuals with disabilities to enable successful performance in this diverse role.
